Ben’s experience spans from developing and producing documentaries, television formats, live entertainment, digital platforms, integrated campaigns to numerous award-winning TV commercials that have been produced in over thirty countries.
Earlier in his career, he worked on award-winning documentaries, including Joe Berlinger’s “Metallica Some Kind of Monster”, Errol Morris Oscar-winning “The Fog Of War” and Michael Apted’s “The Power of the Game” which inspired him to pursue the development of entertainment formats and branded entertainment initiatives on behalf of @radical.media and its clients. Ben produced Ralf Schmerberg’s documentary “Problema: Who are we in the 21st century?”, which went on to win the European Film Festival for best documentary in 2011 and the recently released theatrical documentary “Bar 25 Film: Tage ausserhalb der Zeit” (Germany´s first crowd-funded feature doc) in co-production with ZDF. In collaboration with longtime partners Nike and their agency Wieden + Kennedy, Ben produced Nike “Dare”, one of the largest branded content initiatives ever launched in China as well as Nike’s Emmy-nominated “Courage” campaign. In addition to his commercial experience, Ben has also served as Executive Producer and Producer on several substantial fashion and art projects for some of the world’s most celebrated brands such as Issey Miyake, Hermès Paris, Hussein Chalayan, Gareth Pugh, L ́Oreal and Swarovski. As @radical.media has continued to break new ground in the global arena, Ben has been an integral part of the development of new business opportunities in Europe, the UK and Asia, including the opening of @radical’s London office 2011. In a world with ever changing media landscapes, Ben´s focus continues to be on maintaining relevancy and telling compelling stories across multiple platforms. His extensive experience in working with brands as well as independent producers, writers and networks presents unique opportunities to inspired both worlds and aligning the best of each in trans media projects.
