Daniel Kellison is an Emmy nominated TV producer/writer and co-founder of Jackhole Industries (with partners Jimmy Kimmel and Adam Carolla). Among their many shows, he co-created “Crank Yankers” and “The Man Show” and was the original executive producer of “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” Before that, he spent eight years as a producer for “Late Night with David Letterman” and “Late Show with David Letterman.” He has also executive produced and co-created shows with Quincy Jones, David Blaine, Rosie O’Donnell, and Kanye West, amongst others.
In 2013 he launched two hugely successful comedy channels funded by Google/YouTube: JASH (with partners Sarah Silverman, Michael Cera, Tim & Eric and Reggie Watts) and Video Podcast Network (featuring with Adam Carolla, Norm Macdonald, Earwolf/Comedy Bang Bang and Doug Benson’s “Getting Doug with High,” which is the most watched live show on YouTube). In a little over a year they have 1 million+ subscribers, nearly 100,000,000 views—and a short film they made for YouTube won the 2013 Sundance Film Festival, beating out 8200 entries. Their “Arscheerio Paul” video was also named “#1 Viral Video of the Year” by USA TODAY.
Daniel also sits on President Obama’s Entertainment Advisory Council and contributes the “Dinner with Daniel” column on Bill Simmons ESPN’s “Grantland” site.
