Dee Ellis has been working in TV production for 10 years, working her way up from runner to producer. She has an MA in TV Production from Bournemouth Media School and is a graduate of the Channel 4 Researcher Development Program. Dee worked on the long running RTE comedy series The Panel, hosted by Dara O’Briain, for two seasons. She then expanded her TV experience in to a variety of genres including lifestyle, factual and children’s programming before returning to comedy in a development role on the BBC ONE comedy series Ask Rhod Gilbert which she worked on from the pilot episode through to the first series. In 2011, Dee produced a series of online comedy shorts (Comedy Blaps) for Channel 4with the Irish comedy duo The Rubberbandits directed by BAFTA award winning director Declan Lowney. The success of the online shorts resulted in a Channel 4 comedy commission for a half hour pilot that broadcast in November 2012. Dee’s other credits include Take Me Out, HeadChef with Conrad Gallagher, Families in the Wild, The Afternoon Show, 21st Century Child and Showhouse.
