José Machado has worked mainly in content research, production and broadcasting in Portuguese-speaking TV markets for the last ten years.  Since 1996, he has worked in Internet and new media on the biggest private Internet Service Provider, IP Global and published two books: E-Learning em Portugal and Apresentador de TV. José founded the International TV Professionals in 2003 and lead the networking activity of this 45k+ users online community. He holds two Post-Graduate degrees in Interactive Television Authoring and Production (2003) from ULHT/Lisbon and in TV Presenting (2004) from Centro de Estudos de Televisão of UnI/Lisbon. He completed the Creative Writing course in Aula do Risco (2002), the Collaborative Screenwriting with Richard Lewis workshop at FCSH/UNLisbon in a partnership with The University of Texas at Austin (2011) and attended a Master’s Degree course in Audiovisual Expression, UAlg/Ab. Since 2005 he is a member of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
