With over 30 years of experience in content production. Karni Ziv began her career in 1992 as a script writer for kids’ content for the Israeli cable company ICP, and in 2000 became the CEO of the country’s largest kids’ channel. Mrs. Ziv was later appointed Deputy CEO of Noga Communications Media Group and became the Head of the content division at Israel’s major cable company, HOT. In 2010 she became Deputy Executive Director for Content at the second-largest Israeli commercial channel – Channel 10.
In 2013 Mrs. Ziv joined the Keshet Media Group as Head of Drama and Comedy at Keshet Broadcasting. She is responsible for the development and management of the creative processes of all Keshet scripted projects and supervises the production aspects related to content and creativity for all international drama projects of Keshet’s co-productions with foreign content producers.
Since joining Keshet Broadcasting in 2013, she focuses on developing content with great international potential including titles such as the romantic comedy The Baker and the Beauty (Amazon acquired the global rights to broadcast the first 2 seasons); the psychological thriller Sleeping Bears (premiered internationally at the Drama Series Days at Berlinale); the action-packed drama When Heroes Fly (won Best Series at Canneseries).
