Mattias Olsson, co-founder of Friday TV which created hit formats such as Minute To Win It in licensed in 59 territories, Single Moms (12 territories) and Clash of the Choirs (14 territories). Before he started Friday TV he was Head producer/ Head of content at Strix Television from 2000-2004. After graduating from Stockholm University studying Journalism, Theoretical Philosophy and Filmmaking Mattias has had great achievements within the Swedish TV-industry. Throughout his career Mattias has been active in format development. Together Mattias and Jock Millgårdh developed a string of successful formats at Strix. The Bar and The Farm are two of the world’s most popular daily reality series. The Bar has been sold to 34 territories, The Farm to 49 and licensed to broadcasters such as TF1 in France, Five in the UK, RTL in Germany, and Antena 3 in Spain. Jock and Mattias helped turn their former employer Strix Television into the world’s sixth largest formats exporter 2002-2004. Mattias Olsson has also worked as a consultant for Survivor, The Farm, The Bar, Clash of the Choirs, Single Moms and Minute to win it in the United States, Argentina, China, Spain, Italy, Denmark, Norway, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and Portugal.
