MASTER CLASS #4 2014 – “NEGOTIATING DEALS” & C21 FUTURE MEDIA SUMMIT

MASTERING THE ART AND SCIENCE OF NEGOTIATION – FROM MAKING DEALS TO SETTLING DISPUTES

“In business as in life, you don’t get what you deserve, you get what you negotiate” - Chester L. Karrass

Your business is significantly depending on the skills of those who negotiate the deals; and negotiations reach far beyond the bargaining table. The art of crafting and closing deals is as much about commercial acumen as it is about strategy, tactic, psychology and the power of persuasion. This master class provides strategic as well as hands-on tactical advice for negotiators whose deals, disputes and decisions cross industries and cultural boundaries. The curriculum mixes keynotes, lectures and personal mentoring with mock negotiations where the class will visualize power shifts, interests and roles of different stakeholders. The course will also cover key elements of the economics of television to understand traditional and future sources of revenue as well as exploring new avenues for financing including brand-funding.

The last day of the master class will be hosted in collaboration with C21 at C21′s FutureMedia summit, part of Content London at BAFTA, London.
